United Way is putting together an event to help veterans in St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Stand Down has a goal to help veterans regardless of discharge status. The event coordinators will help with employment assistance, wellness exams, housing and shelter information, a female veteran’s representative will be on hand, dental and eye wear vouchers will be available and many other services.

St. Cloud Stand Down is Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held at the St. Cloud National Guard Armory, located at 1710 Veterans Drive in St. Cloud.
