Two cows were found shot at the National Wildlife Refuge last Tuesday.

Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says deputies were called to Blue Hill Township near 293rd Avenue Northwest to find a cow and calf that had been shot. The cows likely died a few days before.

Authorities are asking the public to call the sheriff’s department with any information about the incident at (763)765-3500.
