There was a truck and ATV accident near Eden Valley southwest of Cold Spring Tuesday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson says deputies responded to the intersection of Lakewood Road and 150th Street where authorities say a pickup truck driven by 66-year-old Daryl Sogge hit a ATV driven by 15-year-old Jakob Thielen.

Sogge was driving eastbound through the intersection when Thielen crossed at it. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch after colliding.

Thielen was not wearing a helmet and was taken to the Paynesville Hospital with a leg injury. Sogge was not injured. Both are from Eden Valley.

Eden Valley Rescue and the Paynesville Ambulance also assisted in response.
