A local bank has made a hefty donation to the Sartell Community Center.

BankVista, which originated in Sartell, donated $20,000 to the nearly completed community center.

According to the City Administrator of Sartell Mary Degiovanni, BankVista was able to make such a generous donation partly due their assets climbing above $200 million in 2016.

The community center is slated to open in August 2017.
