A St. Cloud woman crashed her car into an apartment building Wednesday night.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says at about 7:25 p.m. 28-year-old Hawa Gedi Doll was heading south on West St. Germain Street attempting to make a left turn  onto Quarry Road. She accidentally stepped on the accelerator,  which caused her to leave the road and hit an apartment building, located a 3346 West St. Germain Street.

A 60-year-old woman in the apartment unit was struck, but not injured.

Doll was taken to St. Cloud hospital to get treatment on non-life threatening injuries and cited for violating instructional permit and failing to drive with due care. City building inspectors will be inspecting damage to the building.
