An accident at the intersection of County Road 75 and County Road 134 sent two people to the hospital Thursday afternoon.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says 35-year-old Benjamin Schirmers of Sauk Centre was stopped at a red light. He was traveling west on County Road 75 just after 1:30 p.m.

Eighteen-year-old Alisha Ritter of Albany was driving her SUV in the same direction. She didn’t see Schirmers’ car at the light and rear-ended him.

Both drivers were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.
