Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Clearwater Road on Saturday night.

St. Cloud Assistant Police Chief Jeff Oxton says that a 16-year-old girl was driving a sedan on Sportsman’s Island Road, at 8:15 p.m. She went to turn left onto Clearwater Road, but failed to yield the right of way and collided with a car driven by 64-year-old Daniel Zika of International Falls.

The girl reported minor injuries but did not need medical attention. Zika said he had no apparent injuries but a passenger in his car, 64-year-old Sharon Zika of International Falls, was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The 16-year-old driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
