The Stearns County Courts will be celebrating Law Day in late April.

Minnesota Judicial Branch Communications Director Beau Berentson says Law Day will display the work of Minnesota courts as well as the work done by judges, lawyers, and law enforcement. Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Lorie S. Gildea and Seventh Judicial District Chief Judge John H. Scherer will hold a special ceremony to kick off Law Day.

Other events will take place, such as a behind the scenes tour of the courthouse and meetings with local district court judges and justice system partners.

Law Day is free to the public and will be held Friday, April 28 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Stearns County Courthouse.
