The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Highway 23 in Foley.

The crash took place on Highway 23 and 8th Ave. Monday just before 2 p.m.

An eastbound Buick crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into a Kia headed the opposite direction.

The driver of the Buick, 70-year-old Rocke Thomas Rowland of Milaca, died in the crash. Terry Allen Vedder, 62, in the Kia, sustained life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital to receive treatment.
