The School of Public Affairs, or SOPA, is inviting speakers to talk about opportunities for employment in the U.S. Department of State.

SOPA says students can come learn how to land a job, internship or fellowship with the department. This session will take place Friday, Jan. 27 from 10-11:15 a.m. in SCSU’s Atwood Theatre.

On the same day, there also will be a Diversity Job and Internship Fair. Representatives from the U.S. Department of State will be attending along with many Minnesota businesses.

If you can’t attend the events, you can sign up for virtual sessions here. These sessions include: finding and applying for jobs in federal government, writing your federal resume, interviewing, pathways programs for interns and recent graduates, employment for individuals with disabilities, and more. 

The Job and Internship Fair will take place Friday, Jan. 27 on the second floor of Atwood from 1-4 p.m.
