Archived: Monday’s Rain Causes Tuesday’s Icy Roads
Drivers should expect slippery spots on the roads after Monday’s rain and Tuesday’s freezing temperatures.
Bob Weisman, a Meteorology Professor at St. Cloud State University, says icy roads have caused an unusually high number of accidents in the Twin Cities during Tuesday morning’s treacherous commute.
The storm system passed through central Minnesota to the Twin Cities and then continued south.
