The results are in for the 13th annual Minnesota College Job Outlook Survey. More employers surveyed this year say they are planning to hire more college graduates.

Andy Ditlevson, associate director of St. Cloud State University’s Career Center, says that out of 78 employers surveyed, 46% say they plan to increase their college hires. That’s 10% more than last year.

But this isn’t the first year Ditlevson has seen an increase.

Ditlevson encourages student who are going to graduate soon to “get going,” start applying for jobs, and to take advantage of job fairs coming to SCSU.

The SCSU Career Center will be hosting a Job Fair Prep Party on January 18 and a Diversity Job and Internship Fair on January 27.
