A name has been chosen for Benton County’s newest K-9 Unit German Shepard.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office says after 1,200 name suggestions they have slimmed the selection down and made a final choice.

Folks can say “hello” to Ragnar, the newest dog in the unit.

His training will be completed by summer, and will make his first public appearance at the Benton County Fair.
