Archived: St. Cloud Salvation Army Is Falling Short of 2016 Goal
The season of red kettles and bell ringing is almost over, and the Salvation Army is still looking for volunteers to help them reach their kettle goals for this year.
Community Development Director at the St. Cloud Salvation Army, Jim Muellenbach says they are just over half way to their goal of $200,000. Christmas Day is their deadline. Muellenbach says they are more than $9,000 below from where they were at this time last year.
Do you want to donate to the red kettle, but it’s too cold for you to go to a store? Muellenbach says you can still donate by mailing a check to 400 Highway 10 South, St. Cloud, MN 56304, with the word “Kettles” written in the memo.
Volunteer bell ringers are still needed! You can sign up for a two-hour slot at registertoring.com or call Shannon at 320-257-7437.
