Archived: Death Investigation Of 35-Year-Old Man Near Lion’s Park Is Now Closed

The death investigation of a 35-year-old man who was found in September has been closed.

The body was first found near Lion’s Park on Sept. 12. Evidence where the body was found helped authorities prove it was deceased for several days. Arrangements were made at that time to have the body taken to the Examiner’s Office for autopsy.

On Sept. 13, the Examiner’s Office identified the body as 35-year-old Beaufeaux. The victim’s family was notified when this information became available.

Now, the case has been closed after the cause of death was determined an accidental drowning.
