Two people in St. Cloud pleaded guilty to sex trafficking two women during March and April last year.
The Stearns County Attorney’s Office says on Nov. 10, 37-year-old Jade Orcena entered her guilty plea to one count of sex trafficking in the second degree. She admitted to having a role in selling the two victims for sex. Orcena will be sentenced Feb. 16, 2017.
Co-defendant Elijah Milsap recently pleaded guilty to one count of sex trafficking in the second degree. Milsap also admitted giving controlled substances to the women he was selling for sex.
Milsap also pleaded guilty to assault and indecent exposure to a correctional officer while awaiting trial in Stearns County Jail. Milsap was sentenced to 252 months in prison.
Stearns County started investigating the sex trafficking after one of the victims ran into a stranger’s house the morning of April 19, 2016. The St. Cloud Police Department responded to the call and began working with the Central Minnesota Sex Trafficking Task Force.
