One driver is dead after a head on collision on Highway 55 Monday night.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Shane Christian was driving his truck west on the highway near Buffalo when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a van going the other direction.

Christian was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and the driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the victim has not yet been released. KVSC will bring you more on this story as it becomes available.
