The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed part Highway 4 after the storms Monday night.

 

MnDOT says Highway 4 near Spring Lake is closed due to a washout undermining the road. Crews have installed a temporary embankment to help protect the road. 

 

MnDOT adds motorists who travels Highway 4 near Spring Lake should plan alternate routes. 

 

The road will remain closed until further notice.
