After 42 years of service, Lee and Melody Morrison are retiring from The Salvation Army of St. Cloud.

The Salvation Army says the Morrison’s were ordained as officers in 1974. They were instrumental in the hot meal program, PhilanthroFeed, where local businesses and volunteers helped cook, serve, and clean up for a free hot meal every day.

Leaving behind a great legacy in St. Cloud, the Morrison’s say, “On June 26 we’ll hit the road and head to Escanaba, Michigan. We really enjoy it there and that’s where we plan to spend our retirement years.”
