Metro Bus drivers of St. Cloud took the opportunity to showcase their driving skills in the local Bus Roadeo competition last week.

 

The Bus Roadeo is a timed obstacle course through orange road cones that test real life driving scenarios. Drivers have the option to compete in the Fixed Route division with large buses or the Dial-a-Ride division with smaller buses.

 

Drivers Todd DeZurik and David Peacock finished in the top spots in the Dial-a-Ride division. Gayle Rekowski and Adam Ploof finished with the top spots in the Fixed Route division.  The four drivers qualified for the state level competition in July.
