Archived: Long Prairie Woman Sentenced To More Than Four Years In Prison For Embezzling
A Long Prairie woman has recently been sentenced to 54 months in prison on five counts of theft by swindle.
45-year-old Sherry Lynn Anderson of Long Prairie plead guilty to five felony counts of swindling after an investigation revealed Anderson embezzled more than $500,000 from the Minnesota Veterinary Associates between July 2010 and March 2014.
She was sentenced by Judge Vicki Landwehr handed down the sentence in Stearns County District Court
During the time of embezzlement Anderson would often go on big vacations, offer large money loans and would be seen driving new vehicles every six months.
