The Spring Hill County Park and Rockville County Park and Nature Preserve are closed to the public till Tuesday, April 26th.

The website of Stearns County says the two parks closed to accommodate a special turkey hunting opportunity. The Midwest Outdoors Unlimited is hosting this hunting for people with a disability.

Hunters were chosen in a drawing through the company. The purpose of this event is to provide disabled American veterans and other people with a recreational activity.

Hunters will be accompanied by a volunteer assistant during their time in the parks.
