Stearns County has chosen four finalists for the vacant administrator position.

According to the media relations specialist Janet Midas, county officials have reviewed 24 applications. The finalists are the Goodhue County Administrator Scott Arneson, Stearns County Assistant to County Administrator  Steve Hammes,  Crow Wing County Administrator, Timothy Houle and St. Cloud City Administrator, Mike Williams.

They will be assessed for their leadership by an outside firm. The Stearns County Board of Commission will decide which applicant to choose for the position on May 2.

The finalist will replace the long-time Administrator George Rindelaub who retired at the end of last month after 28 years of service to the Stearns County.
