A 38-year-old man received non-life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle accident in the north side of St. Cloud Tuesday morning.

St. Cloud Police Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton says the accident happened at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and 8th Street North shortly after 11:20 a.m.

Officers learned Lewis Raymond Florence Jonas was driving southbound and drove through the intersection and was hit by another vehicle which ran the red light.

The second vehicle was driven by 77-year-old Lewis Raymond Olson from Clear Lake. He struck an electrical pole and a home in the southwest corner of the intersection. The foundation on the home was damaged slightly.

Jonas went to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Officers cited Olson for failure to stop at the red light.
