The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force arrested two people Tuesday for possession and with possible intent to sell illegal drugs.

The task force says they received a tip that two people in a house on the 3800 block of Roosevelt Road had a large amount of controlled substances. They got a warrant and searched the house.

Inside the investigators found about $1,000, half a pound of marijuana and almost two pounds of methamphetamine. Twenty-eight-year old Michael Goodman and 27-year-old Hayle Soyring were arrested and are being held in the Stearns County Jail.

They are expected to be charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance.
