Archived: Holocaust Survivor Inge Aurbacher Speaks At St. Cloud State University Wednesday Night

St. Cloud State University welcomed Holocaust Survivor Inge Aurbacher to speak in the Ritsche Auditorium Wednesday night.

Inge Aurbacher is among the one percent of 15,000 children who survived the tragedy in the Nazi concentration camp at Terezin.

Aurbacher was the child of a Jewish family who lived in Germany near the border with France. She immigrated to America with her parents in 1946. She pursued her education in chemistry and also wrote books and song lyrics about the Holocaust.

Aurbacher shared her experience about the Kristallnacht riots of November 1938 and her recovery in a hospital.
