An ATV with four children fell through the ice near Cold Spring Saturday afternoon.

Stearns Country Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to the north side of Cedar Island Lake where they helped people get to shore.

Brian James Will, 43, from Sartell was pulling two adults and four children in a trailer with his ATV. He came to a large crack in the ice, couldn’t stop and fell through.

Will helped his passengers out of the water, and Chain of Lake Rescuers assisted in the rescue. No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Office reminds people to be careful while on frozen lakes when temperatures are rising.
