The St. Cloud Fire Department has noted with precipitation forecasted for the next week current burning restrictions will end on Friday, but there is potential for the ban to return Monday.

 

Fire Marshal Michael Post says if forecasted precipitation doesn’t come, burning restrictions will be restored on Monday, March 7th. The ban which began Monday is scheduled to expire on Friday at 4 p.m.

 

The restrictions were set in place due to high and dry wind conditions forecasted this week that would make burning dangerous.
