The culture and traditions of two Asian nations will be celebrated on the St. Cloud State University campus this weekend.

The Vietnamese Student Association and the Chinese Student and Scholars Association will be demonstrating how their cultures celebrate the New Year.

Vietnamese Culture night will provide dinner and feature student performances and songs along with the chance to play their traditional luck money games. Doors will open at the Atwood Ballroom Saturday, February 13, at 5:30. Admission is $8 for students and $10 for non-students.

The Chinese New Year Celebration will begin Saturday at 4:30 p.m. with light refreshments in the Ritsche Auditorium. It will feature the Twin Cities Chinese Dance Center preforming a fusion of contemporary and traditions dances. This event is free and open to the public.
