Archived: Wind Chill Advisory In St. Cloud For Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for this upcoming weekend in St. Cloud and southern parts of Minnesota.

St. Cloud State University Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman says Friday night wind chills can be cold enough to cause frostbite in 30 minutes or less. Saturday morning wind chills are expected to be around 20 and 35 below zero with possible frostbite in 10 minutes or less.

The wind chill advisory will be in effect from 3 a.m. to noon Saturday.
