Archived: Belgrade Man Arrested After Stabbing Incident Early Tuesday Morning

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Belgrade man after he allegedly stabbed another man early Tuesday morning.
 
Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says officers went to 424 Martin Ave. in the city of Belgrade due to a domestic disturbance. They arrived to the scene to find 41-year-old Bradley Michels of Belgrade and a 38-year-old man also from Belgrade engaged in a fight.
 
The 38-year-old man had suffered multiple stab wounds, including one that struck a lung. The victim was transported to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment. 
 
Michels was arrested and booked into Stearns County Jail on charges of 1st and 2nd degree assault. The incident remains under investigation.
