A St. Cloud man was arrested on charges of 2nd degree assault and making terroristic threats on the south side of the city early Monday morning.

St. Cloud Police Department Sergeant Jason Burke says officers responded to a gun complaint at 2:43 a.m. in the 1900 block of Quarry Road. The investigation shows 26-year-old Sharmake Mohamed Aden of St. Cloud pointed a handgun and threatened a 27-year-old man from Osakis. The victim was trying to tow away Aden’s vehicle.

Aden was arrested and taken to the Stearns County jail. No other injuries were reported. Burke adds officers recovered the handgun and there is no threat to public.
