St. Cloud Police are looking for multiple suspects who stole more than $4,300 in cigarettes from Cash Wise East and Coborn’s grocery stores.

Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton says the theft took place in the early morning hours of December 18 and January 6. The first store hit was Cash Wise East, the second was the Coborn’s on Cooper Avenue on January 6.

Surveillance cameras show a group of men entering the stores. Two men jumped over the service counter and grabbed cartons of cigarettes while two other men kept a watch out for employees. They got away with $2,700 worth of cigarettes at Cash Wise and $1,600 at Coborn’s on Cooper.

Police are asking for tips on these robberies at 320-251-1200 or via Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 320-251-1301. Crime Stoppers pays rewards for information leading the arrest and charges against suspects.
