A Sartell businessman is facing charges of alleged tax related-felonies.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue says the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office recently charged Mark John Mimbach. He is the owner of MJ Trailer Sales, and has not filed income taxes from 2009 to 2013. He has also not paid sales tax on retail sales from 2009 to 2012.

Mimbach now owes more than $340,000 for income tax and $6,000 for sales tax, penalties and interest. He has been charged with five counts of failing to pay income taxes and one count of sales tax.

Each felony amounts to an equal maximum penalty of five years in prison or $10,000 of fine or both.
