Roads are closing to get ready for the third year of a German-style holiday market in St. Cloud.

People are invited to shop the downtown streets while celebrating Weihnachtsmarkt with food, beverages, arts and crafts. Traditional German food will be available to sample including: bratwurst, sauerkraut, lebkuchen (gingerbread), Gluhwein (hot spiced wine), and beer from the Beaver Island Brewing Co. 

To help people stay warm, vendors will be protected under heated tents.

Weihnachtsmarkt will take place Thursday along St. Germain Street next to the Paramount Theater. 

The City Engineer’s Office says the road will be closed between 9th and 10th Avenues during market hours. People are welcome from 5-9 p.m. Pictured: Downtown St. Cloud courtesy City of St. Cloud.
