Archived: 60-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead After Being Run Over At A Minnesota High School

ROYALTON, Minn. (AP) – A central Minnesota man has died after being run over by a vehicle at a high school.

KSTP-TV reports it happened Friday at Royalton High School in Royalton.The victim was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he was pronounced dead.

The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office identifies the man as 60-year-old Vernon Barthel of Rice.

The medical examiner says Barthel died from multiple blunt force injuries after being run over by a vehicle.

KSTP-TV reports the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. No other details were immediately available.
