Two St. Cloud teenagers were reportedly robbed by three strangers on the south side of the city early Sunday morning.

St. Cloud Police Commander Jeff Oxton says officers responded to a robbery on the east sidewalk of 4th Avenue South at 1:30 a.m. A 17-year-old and 18-year-old were walking north when three men approached them demanding money. The victims claimed they didn’t have any. One of the suspects then grabbed the 18-year-old’s phone and fled the area.

The victims described the suspect who stole the phone as a 6-foot-tall black man with shoulder length dreadlocks. He was wearing black jeans and a black winter-style coat. The other two suspects were described as black men wearing jeans and black hooded sweatshirts.

The suspects didn’t show any weapons during the incident. No injuries were reported.
