St. Cloud State University’s Theater Department is staging a performance of Moliere’s Tartuffe early this December.

The performance is a classic comedy about an imposter who tries to establish strict and puritanical rules that he doesn’t even follow. The performance features 17th century costumes and relates to lust, greed and religious hypocrisy of the 21st century.

The play is directed by Vladimir Rovinsky and has a cast of 11 actors. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
