New information has been released on a deadly accident in Meeker County Monday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says one person was killed in a head-on collision along Highway 4 north of Cosmos just after 5 a.m. The accident happened when a car crossed the center line and struck a Ford truck traveling the opposite direction.

The victim in the car is identified as 49-year-old Paula Jorgenson of Cosmos. She was killed in the accident.

Ralph Pearson, 57, of Grove City was driving the truck with his passenger, 58-year-old Connie Pearson. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
