Spring Hill County Park will start its deer hunting season for people with disabilities the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Park Director Peter Theismann says Midwest Outdoors Unlimited is offering this special hunting opportunity for anyone with disabilities, including veterans. Each hunter must be accompanied by an employee at the park.

Hunters have already been selected through a random drawing by Midwest Outdoors Unlimited. The event will begin Saturday, November 28 until Sunday, December 6.

The park will be closed to other activities during this hunting opportunity.
