Archived: St. Cloud State University’s Creative Art Series Continues With Performance at St. Mary’s Cathedral

Four St. Cloud State University choirs will perform at St. Mary’s Cathedral Sunday afternoon.

The St. Cloud State Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Women’s and Men’s Choirs will be performing along with former Professor of Music Charles Echols, who plays the organ.

The concert will feature a performance of the South African song “Tshotsholoza.” 

The performance is the fourth event in the School of the Arts’ 2015-2016 Creative Art Series. This marks the second annual series designed to introduce new concepts and perspectives in art, film, theater and music.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Cathedral in downtown St. Cloud. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and free with a St. Cloud State ID. Part of the proceeds will go toward music, student scholarships and an upcoming tour for the Concert Choir.
