Firearm season is finally here and the DNR is making it easier to access hunting information from your desktop or cell phone.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announced an interactive deer map on their website for this year’s hunting season. The map gives information about permit areas, deer limits and season start and end dates.

There are two versions available to users depending if they’re viewing the map on the computer or smart phone.

People who visit the site are invited to leave comments about the map in the User Feedback section at the bottom of the page. The DNR will use the feedback to add upgrades for future use. To use the map, visit the DNR’s webpage here.
