St. Cloud residents are invited to participate in Small Business Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Small Business Saturday was founded in 2010 to support local businesses. It has grown into a large movement since then. Shoppers last year supported local businesses across the country. Eighty-eight million people spent over $14 billion in the event.

A local firm, Stearns 208 Marketing, is leading efforts to bring Shop Small to the St. Cloud area this year.

The event will be Saturday, November 28.  Businesses can register for free before November 14 to get merchandise, advertising and marketing materials.
