Archived: St. Cloud Neighborhood Coalition To Hold Meeting With National Register Of Historic Places
The Southeast St. Cloud Neighborhood Preservation Coalition will hold its 7th annual meeting to discuss the National Register of Historic Places.
The sites eligible for the register include Riverside Park and Munsinger Gardens, Kilian Boulevard, Selke Field, East St. Cloud Quarries Historic District and George W. Friedrich Park.
St. Cloud State University Anthropology Professor Mark Muniz will talk about St. Cloud’s historical preservation, ordinance and the local historic district. Manager of the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota, Erin Berg, will also discuss the role cultural and historic sites have in the health of a community.
The event will be Monday, October 26th at 7 p.m. in the Bonn Great Room of St. Benedict’s Senior Community. It is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
