Archived: Jerome Foundation Grants $29,500 To St. John’s Pottery
The St. John’s University and Pottery received a $29,500 award for International Environmental Artist Fellowship from the Jerome Foundation.
The award gives the opportunity to international fellows to do environmental projects with the St. John’s pottery at the Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France. Participants will attend a lecture and series of conversations when their fellowship is complete and finally travel to the school.
Director of St. John’s Pottery, Richard Bresnahan, adds Cassis is full of creative history and remarkable environmental importance.
Jerome and Camargo Foundations were founded by artist and philanthropist Jerome Hill. The foundation has supported artists in Minnesota and New York for more than 50 years.
