St. Cloud State University’s Planetarium will be captivating the eyes of many with a new series of laser shows beginning Saturday.

St. Cloud State’s Department of Physics and Astronomy will be hosting the laser light show series that goes throughout early November. Each show will be a mix of rock n’ roll, art and science. The technology used during each show will highlight the department’s optics and astronomy programs.

The series consists of 8 shows throughout 4 weeks:

• Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” on Friday, October 16 at 6 p.m.
• Orion and Laser Beatles on Saturday, October 17 at 1 p.m.
• Laser Zeppelin on Friday, October 23 at 6 p.m.
• Perseus and Andromeda and Laser Retro on Saturday, October 24 at 1 p.m.
• Laser Metallica on Friday, October 30 at 6 p.m.
• Fright Light II on Saturday, October 31 at 1 p.m.
• Pink Floyd’s "The Wall" on Friday, November 6 at 6 p.m.
• Laser Vinyl on Saturday, November 7 at 1 p.m.
