People who use the Northstar Link Commuter Bus service will soon be able to pay fares with the same Go-To card as the commuter rail.

Northstar says the Go-To card looks like a credit card and can be used on both buses and trains. Each trip will be paid separately by tapping the card to a reader before boarding.

Cards can be purchased online, at any Metro Transit retail outlet or at the downtown St. Cloud Metro Bus Transit Center.

The Go-To card payment option for the Northstar Link is made possible by Metro Bus and Metro Transit.

The new form of payment will be used starting Monday.
