A Cold Spring man was taken to the hospital after being trapped in a corn bin Tuesday night.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies received a report of a man being trapped in a corn bin in St. Joseph just after 10 p.m. Deputies, St. Joseph Fire and Rescue Department as well as Gold Cross Ambulance were sent to the area to help the victim.

53-year-old Douglas Fuchs was rescued and taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The sheriff’s office is investigating the cause of the incident.
