Archived: St. Cloud Community Invited To Informational Presentations About School District 742 Referendum
The St. Cloud community is invited to attend four presentations before the upcoming referendum vote November 3 involving improvements to Apollo and Tech High Schools and other buildings of District 742.
Neighbors for School Excellence Co-Chairs, Cindy Harner and Barclay Carriar, say the presentations will provide attendees with more information about the financial impact with a successful “yes” vote and the consequences if it does not pass.
Neighbors For School Excellence is a community organization passionate that District 742 facilities meet, reflect and enhance the level of education for students. Following the presentations will be a question and answer discussion.
The first will be lead by WJON’s Morning News Watch Host Jay Caldwell at 8:30 p.m. Monday, October 5. The forum begins at 6:30 at the Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud.
The next three meetings will take place as follows:
- October 12 from 7-9 p.m. at St. Cloud City Hall
- October 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Apollo High School
- October 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Technical High School
