A St. Cloud man was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says 22-year-old Rayan Saleh Alzahrani was driving his motorcycle eastbound on 8th Street South. He collided with a car driven by 20-year-old Colton Jones from St. Cloud. Witnesses say Alzahrani’s was driving very fast and he hit a car that was about a block away. The driver had stopped and was crossing the 8th Street South when the motorcyclist hit him.

Alzahrani was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was cited for a motorcycle permit violation by police.
